Progression & Career Rewards
Horizon Rush events are part of the festival career, meaning they tie directly into your Festival progression and unlockable content.
- Wristband Unlocks: Participating in these events helps you earn colored Festival wristbands. Each wristband represents career milestones and unlocks new events and locations.
- Legend Island Access: Collecting your Gold Wristband, which often requires strong performance in multiple Rush events, opens Legend Island, a secret region with exclusive tracks and challenges.
- Collection Journal Stamps: Completing Rush activities gives stamps in your Collection Journal—Yellow, Green, Blue, etc.—marking your progress toward becoming a Master Explorer.
Horizon Rush events also come with Xbox/Steam achievements and Gamerscore points:
- Carkour! (10G): Finish your first Horizon Rush event. A simple starter goal to get you into the action.
- Feel The Rush (20G): Complete three different Rush events to prove your versatility.
- Crowd Pleaser (20G): Earn 36 stars in PR Stunts, often overlapping with Rush-style gameplay for extra XP and festival points.
Each Rush event is designed with multiple sectors to challenge precision and replayability:
- Tokyo City Dockyard – "Peer Pressure": Navigate massive jumps, twisty container mazes, and destructible billboards. Timing is key to hitting checkpoints fast.
- Alpine Ski Resort: Race down snowy slopes and mountain obstacles. High-altitude jumps and narrow paths test your handling and throttle control.
- Coast Spaceport: Futuristic seaside course with ramps, sharp turns, and cinematic moments. Perfect for players who enjoy a mix of speed and spectacle.
- Replay Sectors: Don’t just aim to finish—perfect each sector to collect stars and extra rewards.
- Use Hero Cars: Some vehicles handle jumps and rough terrain better. Rally-style cars like the Ford RS200 or MG Metro 6R4 often make Rush events easier.
- Stack Progression: Completing PR Stunts or collecting stamps in the same session can unlock achievements faster.
